February is just 2 weeks away, nearly time to grade! Teams need to be registered with the Association at the end of Feb so we need all teams including Coaches and Managers registered and finalised by then. If you are planning on Coaching or Managing please make sure your WWCC is up to date - you will need to have it finalised BEFORE registering in the new system, it's a very tight timeline.

All grading sessions are being held at Majors Bay Reserve. Here's a link to maps for all our parks for anyone who has not been to MBR previously https://www.concordsoccer.org.au/park-layout-maps

Reminder that players must be registered to attend grading to be covered by insurance. There cannot be any exceptions to this. The Earlybird discount for this cohort runs out Sunday 1st Feb to encourage timely registration.

Division 1 teams were graded last year. Some D1 teams have space and their Coaches should attend grading for their age to consult with the grading team on topping up. Players already in Division 1 do not need to attend grading in February. They should register ASAP to confirm their place, as offers lapse at grading or talk to their Coach who will alert of us any issues.

U8 is the start of the home and away competition. Teams play approximately 50% of games at our home fields either at Edwards or Majors Bay and 50% away at the home grounds. The aim is for all players to be in a team of similar ability players, and to be matched to a division that will challenge, but not intimidate them. Please prepare your children emotionally for the process of being sorted by explaining what will happen and encourage them to do their very best.
