2023 Finals Fever (U13+)

Several crucial games coming up this weekend in the race for the finals.

The 13/4 have two games to go. Currently placed 5th they are only 2 points behind Abbotsford. If they can win both, and Abbotsford lose at least one they are still in with a chance to make the finals.

The 15/1G are currently placed equal first with Hurlstone Park, and will obviously make the finals, but are fighting to finish Minor Premiers giving them another tilt at Champions of Champions.

The MIL (U17/18) are currently 5th but only 1 point behind Hurlstone Park, they will take on last placed Marrickville, and need Hurlstone Park to lose.

All three AA will play their final games for the season at Edwards this Saturday. The AA12 and AA15 have already cemented their place in the final, with the 12’s claiming Minor Premiers (again). The AA5 are walking a tightrope, currently ranked equal 4th but behind on goal differences with LFC. Their final match this weekend they are playing LFC 1pm at Edwards in the decider for the last place in the finals.

Currently third the 45/2 are only 1 clear of 4th placed Balmain and and 2 points clear of Strathfield. Must win to retain their place.

Special mention for the U21/3, currently tied for 1st place, and ahead on Goal Differences, and looking to wrest the Minor Premiership from Leichhardt. Having taken out the U17 and U18 premierships, can they make it a hat trick? We’d like to see that!
