INFORMATION SHEET - Volunteers
Welcome to Concord Junior Soccer Club (CJSC)

Thank you for registering for the 2026 winter season as a volunteer. Please read the following important information to understand what comes next.

Team Allocation

If you know your team, please start reaching out to them to discuss preferred training days and times. A link will be posted in the Coaches and Managers chat for you to enter these. If you do not yet know your team, the Club Administrator will send you a list of the player's details once the teams have been announced and all coaches/managers appointed.
Your Coach/Manager access to Dribl will be opened by the Dribl team shortly before the season starts and that will allow you to select players for each match, check your opposition team and enter results after each game, as well as see the draw and location of games.

Coaching Training

Football Canterbury will be running an evening session on Coaching a team (Grassroots level). Once firm the dates for this will be posted on the club's social media. This is a free event.
We sponsor Coaches - if you wish to take further training and become a certified Coach the Club will refund your fees if you are coaching one of our teams. Talk to Rocco, Vicki or Mick Horseman.

Working With Children Check
If you are coaching or managing a team with players under the age of 18 years, you will require a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) at the time you are registering:

-
If you do not have a valid Working With Children Check, please complete the check ASAP via www.ocg.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check and email a copy of the WWCC confirmation to mpio@concordsoccer.org.au. You will need a WWCC to register. Free for volunteers.
-
If you have a valid WWCC but have not previously advised the Club, please email a copy of the WWCC confirmation to the MPIO (Member Protection & Information Officer) as soon as possible

Coaches & Managers Information Evening

You will be invited to a Coaches & Managers Evenings on the 3rd or 5th March, depending on whether you are coaching/managing a junior or senior team. This will allow you to meet the committee and your fellow C&M's, find out how everything works and ask any questions you have. It’s a great place to make contacts for future borrowing players.

Dribl App (Competition System)
We recommend you download the Dribl app onto your phone for the draw. This will also notify you when games are cancelled or moved. The first set of games do not usually appear until a week or two before the season commences.

Keep Updated

Please keep an eye on our social media (@ConcordJSC on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) and club website (www.concordsoccer.org.au) for more information on start of season activities.

Have a great season!
Cheers
Vicki Rhodes
