INFORMATION SHEET - Game Leaders

​Welcome to the Concord Game Leading Hub

Thank you for registering for the 2026 winter season as a Game Leader. As a Game Leader within the Concord Hub, you will be leading Small Sided Football (U8s to U12s) games at the home fields of Concord Junior Soccer Club (Edwards Park and Majors Bay Reserve) and Russell Lea Women's Soccer Club (Queen Elizabeth Park).

Game Leader Training

If you are a new Game Leader, you will be required to attend an initial Game Leader training course. Concord Hub will usually run courses in March. If you are unable to attend one of those courses, Football Canterbury will also be advertising courses they will run or when another club will also be running a course. You will only be required to attend one course.

Here is a link to the rules. Please memorise them prior to attending your first session. Expect to be asked questions to test your understanding.

If you are a returning Game Leader, you will be invited to attend a refresher course before the first game of the season so that you are up-to-date with any rule changes.
