Transitional Years
The transitional years are Under 8 and U15
This is when the way things are done change markedly from the year prior.
Under 8
Under 8 is the start of the Home and Away competition against other Football Canterbury clubs.

Girls now have the choice of playing either in the mixed competition (plays Saturday) or the girls only competition. (plays Sunday).

As teams will now play in divisions we grade players into teams of similar abilities. The Association will form divisions
Under 15
Under 15 is the start of the "sort your own team" process. We no longer run grading. Teams are generally centred around a Coach or Manager who is pulling a team together. They will decide who will be in each team.

This is change can be quite confronting as it is no longer "the club" placing them in teams.
