Let's play some soccer!

Good news for players aged under 18. Following on from the NSWG to open competition from 1 July for Under 18 aged teams, the CDSFA have confirmed Competition will start first weekend of July for all teams under 18.

Miniroos (U5 to U7) will play the same weeks as the competitive teams. More details for Miniroos to come when we work out how to manage Team Placement days under the Covid guidelines. I have had a couple of enquiries about late registration for Miniroos, I will be opening the U6 and U7 registrations on the CJSC website shortly.

Seniors including the WIL teams were not included in the announcement. FNSW are appealing this with the NSWG. Will keep you informed as I find out. Seniors ignore the last day to de-register date below, this is only for Junior players.

LAST CHANCE TO DE-REGISTER FOR JUNIORS. The CJSC Grading Committee will be finalising U8 to U18 teams over the weekend in time to lodge teams next week. De-registrations are running at less than 10% of player base, and most teams are not affected. Two teams have lost both Coach and Manager, please stand by for updates. Please note that the CDSFA is bringing forward the date after which you will NOT receive a refund, ie we will still have to pay your Association and other fees.

If you are planning to de-register please do it NOW. It is no problem to deregister now. Waiting to deregister until after the re-organisation would let your team and the club down and you will no longer get a refund.

The bullet points below are taken verbatim from the CDSFA communique and only apply to the Juniors at this stage.

  • The CDSFA season for inter‐club competition in the premiership and non‐premiership age groups listed below will commence the weekend of Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July.
