ALSO - the club is interested in acquiring a vat of hand sanitiser - if you see one in your travels please call Vicki 0450 527 592

TL:DR - new recommendations

*People in high risk groups such as the elderly should not attend as spectators.

*Players should not share water bottles.

*Training sessions and trial games which are for adults, should only be attended by the players who will be participating in the training session or trial game.

*Training sessions and trial games for youth players should have only one adult/guardian attend the activity with the youth player. No siblings or other members of the family should attend.

*Maintain social distancing – no handshakes or hugs.

*Clubs should consider ceasing training sessions and trial matches for junior players in the Small Sided Football age groups. The Small Sided Football is non-competitive.

The last point will be discussed in the Committee meeting tonight.

The Covid-19, or Corona virus, is very much in the news at this moment. CJSC will be working with the CDSFA and FNSW regarding possible future cancellations of matches. At this point nothing has been postponed or cancelled but keep an eye on social media or the CJSC website.

To reduce risk, the FFA is recommending that all participants follow the Australian Government’s guidelines. All participants are encouraged to use thorough handwashing techniques and anti-bacterial hand gels - please refer to this link for more details: www.who.int/gpsc/clean_hands_protection/en/. FFA is also recommending that participants reassess how they greet people on a day-to-day basis and how they can minimise contact with other participants in and around the football field.

FFA and FNSW continue to monitor the situation and will provide further information as it becomes available.

Please refer to the following useful links for additional information:

Please follow the guidelines and use common sense:

- if you or your family members are not well, please stay away from training and games until you are healthy

- if you have come into contact with a person confirmed to have Corona virus, self-isolate/quarantine and let us know if you have attended training or games so we can warn anyone who may have come into contact with you

If we can find some to buy, CJSC will have hand sanitiser at the clubhouse for general use on match days.
