CJSC Committee is looking to trial the appointment of a casual Ground Official as its representative for match days at Edwards Park.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
opening the Clubhouse at the start of a match day (approximately 8am)
overseeing the setting up of the fields by the team(s) responsible
ensuring teams follow the rules for occupying the technical areas
supervising the volunteer helpers rostered on to provide ground official support on the day
overseeing the packing of of fields by the team(s) responsible
closing the Clubhouse at the end of a match day (could be anytime between 3pm and 5pm depending on when last game is scheduled)
This trial will involve the candidate working on each Sunday that games are played at Edwards Park. The start date will be negotiated with the candidate but ideally would be as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the season which is approximately mid-August. If the trial is successful, the Committee will look at ways this can be continued next season.
