With the start of soccer season a mere 5 weeks away the thoughts of many players and coaches are turning to trial matches. We are getting a plethora of requests from other teams challenging our teams to matches.
The biggest hurdle we face is field availability. Cricket have fields booked literally until the end of March. Jessie Stewart is completely out, Greenlees is an part time option - mostly available Sunday and has no lines marked and no goals set up.
Law Sitou has found us a great solution.
Bressington Park (Opposite DFO) is a new field that has been made available for booking. No lines are marked so teams will need cones. Goal posts are up. There is a small booking fee that applies. Book early!
